The room was also larger than it looked in the photos.

Was a great hotel fir for purpose - staff couldn’t be more happy to help with an questions. The walls are a little thin so just be aware of that but for the price we really couldn’t complain it was perfect.

It was my first time staying in a youth hostel, and the experience was quite good. In downtown Reykjavik, this price is really cheap. The location is very good, and you can walk to any place in the city. The service is very good, the whole youth hostel environment is very good, and the hotel front desk is also very nice, polite, and hospitable. Except for the smaller rooms and shared bathrooms, the other conditions of this youth hostel are basically the same as those of a hotel. The public bathroom environment is also very clean, and there is no discomfort at all. If you don't mind the smaller rooms and shared bathrooms, this is definitely the best value for money in Reykjavik.
